Chris How returns to Brand Architekts as interim CEO

Brand Architekts Group, formerly known as Swallowfield, announced the appointment of Chris How as its interim chief executive officer on Thursday, with immediate effect.

The AIM-traded firm said How was formerly group chief executive of Swallowfield from July 2013 to June 2018, and was joining the newly-renamed Brand Architekts business as interim CEO.

“Having acquired the Brand Architekts business during his tenure, Chris already has detailed knowledge of the Brands business and management team, which will enable him to provide dynamic leadership and support,” the board said in its statement.

“Whilst Chris will not be a director of the plc board, he will attend board meetings and it is envisaged that this will be in place until a permanent, expected to be external, successor is identified.”

Brendan Hynes would continue in his role as executive chairman, the board confirmed.

It added that the nominations committee was continuing the process of identifying a permanent CEO, and expected to provide an update on its progress early in 2020.
