Software solutions group Cerillion has secured its largest-ever contract win.

Cerillion said on Tuesday that it had been awarded an £11.2m contract with an unnamed British provider of "enterprise connectivity solutions".

The AIM-listed group's new contract, which has an overall term of five years, will see the company supply and implement its business support system/operations support system suite, as well as its pre-integrated end-to-end CRM and billing solutions.

Cerillion added that the majority of income, including software licences and services, were expected to be recognised in the next 12 months.

Chief executive Louis Hall said: "During the selection process our end-to-end capabilities and reputation for successful delivery proved to be the differentiating factors over our competition.

"This is the latest demonstration of the ongoing momentum of the business and increasing recognition of the quality of our solutions."

As of 1015 BST, Cerillion shares were up 11.86% at 330.0p.
