BlueRock Diamonds suspends shares, cites ‘financial uncertainty’

AIM-listed BlueRock Diamonds said on Friday that it has requested its shares be suspended from trading "due to financial uncertainty" after its principal operating subsidiary, Kareevlei Mining, was placed into business rescue.

In a very brief statement, BlueRock said: "The company expects to provide a further update shortly."

BlueRock owns and operates the Kareevlei diamond mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa.
