San Antonio-based telecommunications firm Billing Services Group made a third payment of $520,000 on Wednesday as part of its settlement with the US Federal Trade Commission.

In May, the AIM-listed company reached an agreement with the FTC over claims that Billing Services placed over $70m- worth of fake charges on telephone bills between 2006-10.

It refunded some of the charges and an agreement was reached with the FTC that $5.2m would be paid in 10 equal installments, in return for the company being released from all claims.

In June, the company made the first payment and in September it paid the second.
