FairFX announced on Monday that it has hired Ben Wynn as its chief product and marketing officer.

The AIM-traded firm said Wynn was most recently founder and CEO of home repairs business DAD, which focussed on using mobile technology to “transform” the way people maintained their homes.

Prior to DAD, he was chief product officer at the mobile agency Somo, where he reportedly created “award-winning solutions” for clients such as Audi, De Beers, Fidelity and Prudential.

Wynn was bringing more than 18 years of experience in building, promoting and scaling “ground-breaking products” across the mobile, digital and marketing landscapes, the FairFX board claimed.

“I am delighted that Ben is joining us as our CPMO,” said FairFX CEO Ian Strafford-Taylor.

“Constant development of products allied with imaginative and cost-effective marketing is absolutely fundamental to our success.”

Strafford-Taylor said Wynn had an “excellent” track-record in both of those areas, with his appointment augmenting the company’s “strong” internal team.

“In addition, the timing of his appointment is ideal in terms of formulating the short, medium and longer term plans for the group post the recent acquisition of CardOne Banking.”
