Financial market information provider ADVFN announced on Monday that, following the MJAC2017 exhibition organised by its US platform InvestorsHub.com, and launched in Los Angeles during September, its has formed a new venture titled MJAC InvestorsHub International Conferences.

The AIM-traded company said MJAC InvestorsHub is based in Las Vegas, and will develop the MJAC conference and new exhibition opportunities starting with MJAC2018, which will be held in the autumn of 2018 in Las Vegas.

US-based THC Therapeutics agreed to take a 50% interest in MJAC InvestorsHub for a cash payment of $0.5m.

THC is publicly listed on the US Over-the-Counter market.

“After a very pleasing start with the MJAC2017 LA show, MJAC InvestorsHub plans to develop conferences and exhibitions focusing on disruptive technologies including blockchain, lithium and medical marijuana,” said ADVFN CEO Clem Chambers.

Chambers added that linking up with THC Therapeutics would leverage that opportunity with an increased US footprint, finance and enhanced market knowledge.

“Having met Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN, and spent time with their board of directors as we've worked to establish this partnership, I am very impressed with what they have accomplished and their vision not only for ADVFN, but also our shared vision for MJAC LTD as a leading force in the convention/expo space for these disruptive technologies,” commented THC Therapeutics CEO Brandon Romanek.
