AIM-listed tech firm Accesso Technology announced on Thursday it had finalised a deal to install its ticketing and queue management software with an Australian theme park operator.

Accesso said it had signed a five-year agreement with Australia's largest theme park operator, Village Roadshow.

The Reading-based group said it would be installing its Accesso Passport ticketing suite in several key attractions across Australia with the intention to go live in Spring 2018.

Warner Bros' Movie World, Sea World, Paradise Country and the Wet 'n' Wild parks in Sydney and the Gold Coast would implement the technology.

"This agreement illustrates Village Roadshow Theme Park's continued confidence in our suite of solutions and their commitment to crafting a truly unforgettable experience for their guests," said Accesso chief executive, Steve Brown.

Accesso confirmed its focus on the Asia-Pacific region, asserting the Village contract win was confirmation that the region was a key growth area for the company.

As of 1300 BST, shares had jumped up 5.93% to 1,875.00p.
