On 27 January 2023, the Company purchased 100,000 ordinary shares at a price of 180.2705p. The shares purchased will be held in Treasury.
Following the purchase of the above shares 390,694,641 ordinary shares of 1p each will remain in issue. Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc will hold 15,059,054 ordinary shares in Treasury.
The above figure (390,694,641) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
