Update on 2019 AGM Result

Hibernia REIT plc ("Hibernia" or the "Company") is providing an update in accordance with Provision 4 of the UK Corporate Governance Code 2018.

At the Company's 2019 AGM, held on 31 July 2019, the re-election of Daniel Kitchen, Chairman, was passed but was subject to a significant minority vote against of 31.71%.  The Company had spoken to shareholders earlier in 2019 and again immediately prior to the AGM and was aware of the overboarding concerns expressed by some shareholders.

In December 2019 Mr. Kitchen announced his intention to step down as Chairman of Workspace Group plc with effect from the conclusion of its 2020 AGM on 9 July 2020.  Hibernia is planning to engage with shareholders over the coming weeks on various governance matters and will specifically seek their views on overboarding.

The Company continues to believe that Mr. Kitchen devotes adequate time to the Company and is always available when required.

A further update will be provided in the Company's Annual Report for the year ending 31 March 2020.
