Result of Requisitioned General Meeting

 

At the General Meeting held today the resolutions to remove certain existing directors and to install three new directors were defeated. 

 

The votes cast for Resolutions 2-6 were the following:

With the consent of the meeting, Resolution 1, to remove any director appointed to the board between the date of the requisition notice, 12 April 2019, and today, was not put to the meeting as no directors had been so appointed.

 

Paul Brenton, Chief Executive Officer commented: "I am pleased that these resolutions have been put behind us and that the focus can now be on growing MRS successfully for the benefit of all shareholders. As announced on 2 May 2019 there is a board succession plan in place and we will move swiftly to announce the first of our new non-executive directors."
