Publication of 2021 Annual Report and Notice of Annual General Meeting

 

Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc, the company behind a new generation of nanopore-based sequencing technology, today announces that it has published its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021 and its Notice of Annual General Meeting 2022.

In compliance with Listing Rule 9.6.3, the following documents have today been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism:

·      Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021 ("2021 ARA"); and

·      Notice of 2022 Annual General Meeting ("2022 AGM Notice").

Printed copies of these documents together with the Form of Proxy for use in connection with the 2022 Annual General Meeting have been posted to shareholders who have requested hard copies. Electronic copies of the 2021 ARA and 2022 AGM Notice are available on the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at https://nanoporetech.com/about-us/investors.

The 2022 Annual General Meeting will be held at the Company's offices at Gosling Building, Edmund Halley Road, Oxford Science Park, Oxford, OX4 4DQ at 11.00am on Thursday 23 June 2022.

At the time of publication of this Notice, there are no UK government restrictions that prevent the Company from holding its AGM in person. If the Covid-19 guidance changes at any point prior to the AGM, such that shareholders are unable to attend in person, the Company will update shareholders through an announcement to the London Stock Exchange and on the Company's website at https://nanoporetech.com/about-us/investors. Shareholders who plan to attend the AGM in person should take a lateral flow test and ensure a negative result before entering the Company's offices. Shareholders should not attend if they are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19.

Shareholders are strongly encouraged to ensure that their votes are counted at the 2022 Annual General Meeting by appointing the chair of the 2022 Annual General Meeting as their proxy in line with the procedures set out in the 2022 AGM Notice.
