Notice of Annual General Meeting

Following the publication on 30 June 2020 of its Annual Financial Report for the year ended 31 March 2020, the Company announces that it will hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on Tuesday, 8 September 2020 at 2.00 p.m.

In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19, the Board considers the health and safety of shareholders and attendees as a top priority. In order to reduce the transmission of COVID-19, the UK Government has introduced mandatory measures which continue to change and evolve depending on the risk of infection in the community. The Board fully supports these measures to protect public health and safety. Accordingly, shareholders shall be prevented from attending the AGM in person and are instead encouraged to submit their votes by appointing the Chairman as proxy. The only attendees who will be permitted entry to the meeting will be those who will need to be present to form the quorum to allow the business to be conducted. The results of the meeting will be announced, in the normal way, as soon as practicable after the conclusion of the AGM.

Given the restrictions required due to COVID-19, the Board would like to offer the opportunity to all shareholders to raise questions and comments on the resolutions which will be proposed at the AGM. Registered shareholders may submit such questions by email to shareholders@civitasim.com by 10 a.m. on 4 September 2020. Questions will be collated and answered in a 'Questions and Answers' document to be published on the Company's website at www.civitassocialhousing.com.

A copy of the Notice of the AGM is available to view on the Company's website at https://www.civitassocialhousing.com/. It has also been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism. Copies of the Notice of the AGM are being posted to the Company's shareholders today.
