The following amendment has been made to the Annual Financial Report (Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements) announcement made on 30 September 2019 at 07:01hrs under RNS number 0374O.

Due to an administrative error, the table detailing the impairment/expected credit loss provision of financial assets as at 30 June 2019 on page 88 of the Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements linked by the RNS on 30 September 2019, had a small number of investments incorrectly included as Stage 1 when they should have been included in Stage 2. The Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements have been revised and a total of £12.7 million has been moved from Stage 1 to Stage 2 on the table.

On page 92 of the Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements linked by the RNS on 30 September 2019, the narrative for the Stage 3 positions has also been updated as it previously referenced Stage 2 rather than Stage 3.

This has not changed the overall financial position of the Company as reported in the original release.
