Annual Report and Accounts 2018 and Notice of Annual General Meeting

Further to the publication on 26th July 2018 of the Company's preliminary announcement of its annual results for the year ended 30th June 2018 (the "Preliminary Announcement"), it is confirmed that a copy of the following has today been posted to shareholders, submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM:

1.         Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30th June 2018;

2.         Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM"); and

3.         Proxy Form.

The Annual Report and Accounts 2018 and Notice of AGM will also be available at www.renishaw.com/investor.

The Company's AGM will be held at New Mills, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, GL12 8JR on Thursday 18th October 2018 at 12:00 noon.

We confirm that to the best of our knowledge:

• the Financial statements, prepared in accordance with the applicable set of accounting standards, give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit or loss of the Group and of the Company and the undertakings; and​
• the Strategic report and the Directors' report include a fair review of the development and performance of the business during the year and the position of the Company and the Group at the year end, together with a description of the principal risks and uncertainties that they face.

We consider the Annual report and accounts, taken as a whole, is fair, balanced and understandable and provides the information necessary for shareholders to assess the Group's position and performance, business model and strategy.
