The date was incorrectly written as 31 December 2017 and should have been 31 January 2018.

In conformity with Article 15 of the Transparency Directive and the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6, we would like to notify the market of the capital of Greene King plc as at 31 January 2018.

Greene King plc's capital consists of 309,976,705 ordinary shares with voting rights.  Greene King plc holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the above figure of 309,976,705 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Greene King plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
