Retirement of the Chairman

Ground Rents Income Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the Company's Chairman, Mr Malcolm Naish, has retired following the Company's Annual General Meeting on 31 March 2021, in line with the Company's published succession plan.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Naish for his leadership as Chairman, over the past nine years since IPO.

Mr Barry Gilbertson, an independent non-executive director of the Company, succeeds Mr Naish as Chairman. Mr Gilbertson was recently appointed to the Board as part of a structured succession process.

Barry Gilbertson, Chairman-elect of Ground Rents Income Fund, said:

"The Board, Manager and I are very grateful for Malcolm's commitment and skill leading the Company, sometimes through complex challenges. I look forward to continuing this work which will include navigating leasehold and regulatory reform in a way which protects shareholders interests, whilst also ensuring leaseholders are treated fairly."
