Chris Tinker to retire after 31 years with the Group.

Crest Nicholson announces that, after more than 30 years of service, Chris Tinker, Chairman of Major Projects and Strategic Partnerships, and recently Interim Chief Executive Officer, will step down from the Board on 31 December 2019.

Chris Tinker joined the Group in 1988 and held a range of senior roles in the business, including Managing Director of Crest Nicholson Developments, Regeneration Chairman, and more recently Chairman of Major Projects & Strategic Partnerships overseeing much of the Group's £5bn regeneration and strategic land interests. He also most recently acted at interim Chief Executive Officer during 2019.

Peter Truscott, Chief Executive said "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Chris for his long and dedicated service to Crest Nicholson and his exceptional contribution as a business leader and Board Director. We wish him a long and happy retirement."

Additional Information

Remuneration payable will be in line with Chris's contractual terms and the shareholder-approved remuneration policy, following the Company serving notice. He will be eligible to receive a bonus for the year to 31 October 2019 and will be treated as a good leaver in relation to his outstanding deferred bonus and LTIP awards which will vest at the normal time, and on a pro rata basis as appropriate.
