Director Appointment

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Rowney as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 July 2019. Richard will also be appointed as a member of the Audit and Risk, Management Evaluation and Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Board from this date.  Richard has a wealth of experience in Financial Services and is currently the CEO of leading financial mutual LV=. Richard previously spent 14 years at Barclays Bank holding a number of senior positions across corporate and retail banking and is currently a Board member of the Association of British Insurers.

Commenting on his appointment, Robert Sharpe, the Company's Chairman said:

"I am delighted we have been successful in attracting a person of the calibre and experience of Richard to the Board.  I very much look forward to working with him to chart the continued success of the business".

There are no further details in respect of Richard Rowney requiring disclosure under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
