Directorate Change - Chairman Designate Appointment

Moss Bros Group PLC, the 'first choice in men's tailoring' is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Porter as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from today, 18th March  2019. It is the intention that Colin will become Chairman of the Company following the AGM in May 2019, when, as previously announced, as part of the Board's succession planning, the current Chairman, Debbie Hewitt, retires on the ninth anniversary of her appointment.

Colin is the CEO of Joules plc, where, since 2010, he has led the development of the business through a successful international multichannel strategy, growing both sales and profits. He oversaw the successful IPO of the business on to AIM in May 2016 and has since continued to create substantial shareholder value. Prior to his role at Joules, he has held various senior management roles in the retail sector.

Debbie Hewitt MBE, Chairman, said:

"I am delighted to have delivered on my commitment to provide a strong successor and well planned transition. As well as his proven multi-channel experience, Colin brings broad strategic, international, retailing skills, within a private and listed board environment. I am sure that he will bring strong leadership to our Board and all of the skills required for the next stage in our development. We look forward very much to welcoming him."

Colin Porter said:

"I am really excited to be joining the Board and taking up the role of Chairman of Moss Bros, which is a company with a great heritage, commited colleagues and tremendous opportunities for growth. I am looking forward to working with Brian Brick, our CEO and the rest of the team."

Brian Brick, CEO, said:

"Debbie is a talented Chairman, who has built and led a high quality, diverse Board, with a strong sense of purpose. We are appreciative of her commitment in ensuring that the execution of our Board succession planning is done in a well-orchestrated manner, giving us plenty of time to secure and induct her successor.

On behalf of the Board and all at Moss Bros, I would like to thank her for the outstanding contribution that she has made and continues to make to the Group and for the personal support that she has given me.

I am very much looking forward to working with Colin."
