Virgin Money Holdings (UK) plc is pleased to announce that Geeta Gopalan, one of the Company's independent Non-Executive Directors, has become Chair of the Board Risk Committee (the "Committee") today, the 8 January 2018. Geeta joined the Board and has been a member of the Committee since June 2015.  Her other Virgin Money roles and responsibilities remain unchanged.

This change forms part of the Company's medium term committee succession planning.  Geeta succeeds Colin Keogh as Chair of the Committee. Colin remains a Non-Executive Director of the Company, a role he has held since January 2010, and a member of the Board Risk, Audit and Nomination Committees.
