Accrol Group, the UK's leading independent tissue converter, announces that Joanne Lake has given notice that she wishes to step down from the Board and leave the Company with effect from today to pursue other opportunities, alongside her existing portfolio of chairman and non-executive director responsibilities.

Simon Allport, who joined the Board on 10 October 2018, replaces Joanne as Chairman of the Audit Committee with immediate effect.

Following Joanne's departure, the Directors will continue discussions with other potential non-executive directors to further strengthen the Board in due course.

Dan Wright, Executive Chairman of Accrol Group, said: "I would like to thank Joanne for her contribution to the Board, particularly during the two fundraisings that were undertaken to secure the future of the business. On behalf of the Board, I wish her all the best for the future."
