Board Changes

MySale (AIM: MYSL), a leading international online retailer, is pleased to announce a number of new appointments to the Board.

The Company has previously announced its intention to strengthen the Board through the recruitment of two additional Non-Executive Directors.

Following a recruitment process, Dow Famulak and Wally Muhieddine have been appointed to the Board as Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.

Dow has significant global experience in building, transforming and commercializing businesses having worked with a range of high profile consumer fashion brands and retailers in the Americas, Europe and Asia over the past 20 years. Dow is currently based in London in his role as Adviser to the CEO of Global Brands Group, one of the world's leading branded fashion apparel, footwear and accessories companies. He was President of Global Brands Group from July 2014 to 2018.

Dow also has experience as a Director of a listed company, having served as an Executive Director of Global Brands Group from 2014 to 2017. Global Brands Group is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to working for Global Brands Group, Dow held a number of senior management roles with Li & Fung, the preeminent global sourcing company. Prior to his career with Li & Fung, Dow was a partner in the Hong Kong office of the global international law firm, Baker & McKenzie.

Dow will also serve as Chair of the remuneration committee and member of the audit and risk committee.

Wally is an expert in media and marketing and has been at the forefront of the evolution of TV advertising in Australia. He is Managing Partner at Advertising Advantage, a leading media buying and planning agency, which has worked with numerous leading brands, developing their marketing and distributions strategy.

Wally will also serve as a member of the remuneration committee.

Further to these new appointments, Charles Butler, currently Interim Non-Executive Chairman, will become Chairman on a permanent basis with immediate effect.

David Mortimer has also notified the Board that he has decided that he will not stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 30 December 2019 and will leave the board at that time. 

The board expresses its gratitude to David for his significant contributions to the business.
