In the first paragraph, Mr. Linwood's middle name (Frederick) has been inserted and in the second paragraph, his age has been corrected to 56.  All other information is unchanged.

Appointment of non-executive director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of John Frederick Linwood as a non-executive director, with effect from 19 September 2018. Mr Linwood will also become a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Mr Linwood (aged 56) is Chief Technology Officer at Earth-i, a privately funded UK Earth observation company and a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences at Brunel University.

Mr Linwood was formerly the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Wood Mackenzie (2014 - 2016), Chief Technology Officer for the BBC (2009 - 2013) and a Senior Vice President of International Engineering at Yahoo inc. (2004 - 2009). Prior to that, Mr Linwood held a number of senior positions at Microsoft Corp. (1993 - 2004).

Commenting on the appointment, Chris Knight, Chairman of Brooks Macdonald, said:

During the last five years immediately preceding the date of this announcement, Mr Linwood held the following directorships:
