City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing in closed-end funds, has been notified that our Non-Executive Director Tazim Essani has purchased 2,750 ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in her married name of Tazim Magner, and her spouse Kevin G Magner has purchased 2,600 Ordinary Shares. All were purchased at £5.20 per share.
Following these purchases, Ms. Essani's beneficial interest is 5,350 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.01% of the Company's issued share capital.
