Filing of US Patent Applications to Protect Web3 Intellectual Property

The board of directors (the "Board") of Tintra, the rapidly innovating Deep Tech & Banking business, is pleased to announce that it has filed two new US patent applications (the "Patents") with the United States Patent & Trademark Office. These patents with Serial Numbers 17/857,090 and 17/857,102 protect inventions that the Company has created as part of its rapid research and development program as it continues to build banking infrastructure focused on bringing fiscal inclusion to emerging markets.

These Patent applications are for materially similar inventions to those that have already been applied for in the United Kingdom (see the announcements of 16 June and 7 July 2022), but have variations related to both different regulations and different applications.

Richard Shearer, the Company's Chief Executive, said: "Whilst we will ultimately seek IP protection for our inventions globally, our strategy is to protect them in the major currency markets first. By doing so, we provide de facto global cover as most major transactions between secondary currencies have GBP or USD in the transaction flow.

This strategy is the case for these current inventions, announced here and previously, and the number of others that are currently being advanced to the same stage by our Web3 team and separately by our KYC/AML Artificial Intelligence team."
