Smurfit Kappa announces successful completion of 5 Year €230 million Trade Receivables Securitisation Refinancing
Smurfit Kappa Group plc (the “Group”) is pleased to announce the refinancing of its existing 5-year trade receivables securitisation facility with Lloyds Bank plc. The facility had been scheduled to mature in 2019.
The refinanced facility, which utilises the Group’s receivables in France, Germany and the United Kingdom, will mature in June 2023 and provide for up to €230 million in financing.
The facility complements the Group’s existing €175 million securitisation facility which matures in 2022.
