Redemption of £500,000,000 9.375 per cent. Fixed Rate Subordinated Step-up Notes guaranteed on a subordinated basis by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc (the "Notes")
RSA Insurance Group plc has today given notice in accordance with Condition 7(c) of the Terms and Conditions of the Notes that it will redeem all outstanding Notes on 20 May 2019 at their principal amount, being an aggregate amount of £39,038,000, together with all accrued and unpaid interest up to (but excluding) 20 May 2019. Following such redemption, there will be no Notes outstanding.
