Fast & Furious Crossroads launch

Further to the Company's announcement on 13 December 2019 that Fast & Furious Crossroads (the "F&F Game"), its licensed IP game scheduled for release in May 2020, would be launched alongside the release of the next film in the Fast and Furious franchise ("F9 Film"), the Board notes the recent announcement from Universal Pictures that, due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the global release of the F9 Film will be delayed to April 2021, 11 months later than originally planned.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe is working closely with our partners at Universal Games and Digital Platforms regarding the F9 Film's newly announced theatrical release date of April 2021. While not directly tied to the film, news and updates pertaining to the Fast & Furious Crossroads Game will be shared once they become available. The development team at Slightly Mad Studios and Codemasters will continue to finalise the Game as planned.

Timing for the launch of the Game is now uncertain but, provided the Company releases the F&F Game in Q1 of FY21, the Board anticipates that the later release date of the F9 Film will not have a material impact on its financial expectations for FY21.

A further announcement will be made in due course to confirm the release date of the F&F Game, following discussions with BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe and Universal Games and Digital Platforms.

This announcement is released by Codemasters Group Holdings plc and contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) 596/2014 ("MAR"), and is disclosed in accordance with the Company's obligations under Article 17 of MAR.

For the purposes of MAR and Articles 2 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1055, this announcement is being made on behalf of the Company by Rashid Varachia, Chief Financial Officer.
