Cancellation of share premium account

 

finnCap Group plc (AIM: FCAP) (the "Company") announces that earlier today the High Court of Justice in England and Wales confirmed the cancellation of the amount standing to the credit of the Company's share premium account (the "Cancellation").

 

The Cancellation has occurred pursuant to the resolution of shareholders of the Company passed on 27 November 2018 and in accordance with the details outlined in the Company's admission document dated 29 November 2018.

 

The effect of the Cancellation is to create distributable reserves to support the Board's dividend policy. The Cancellation has no effect on the net asset position of the Company or on the issued share capital of the Company which consists of 168,230,089 ordinary shares of 1 pence each, as at 15 January 2019.
