Bordesley Progress Update: Construction Commences Ahead of Schedule

Mast Energy Developments Plc, the UK-based multi-asset operator in the rapidly growing Reserve Power market, is pleased to announce that its Bordesley project has now entered the construction phase of its development. (Also see RNS dated 20 May 2021)

The recent Bordesley site visit by Clarke Energy, the Company's EPC-contractor for the Bordesley project, completed their technical review of the technical information and documents relevant for the construction and commissioning of Bordesley. Based on the highly efficient INNIO Jenbacher engine, Clarke's EPC proposal now reflects the complete planning and environmental requirements of the Bordesley site and also incorporates the results of an optimisation review of the initial Clarke EPC-proposal. Based on this, MED and Clarke Energy have now officially advanced the Bordesley project into the construction phase of the Bordesley development program.

MED CEO Paul Venter commented: "We are very pleased with the progress in the development of Bordesley. We are currently ahead of schedule in terms of the set development schedule for Bordesley and we hope to see this carry through in an earlier than planned commissioning date for Bordesley".
