APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & REMUNERATION COMMITTEE CHAIR DESIGNATE

 

 

The Board of Essentra plc ("Essentra" or "the Company") today announces the appointment of Nicki Demby as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 June 2019.

 

In addition, after six years as a Non-Executive Director and Remuneration Committee Chair, Lorraine Trainer has advised the Board of her intention to step down following the Company's 2020 Annual General Meeting.  As a result, Nicki will be Remuneration Committee Chair Designate and upon joining Essentra, she will work closely with Lorraine to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

 

Nicki brings extensive advisory experience to Essentra, having provided Board level counsel to many UK and international businesses over more than twenty five years as an executive remuneration consultant.  Nicki has been a Partner of Deloitte LLP and led the Deloitte "Women on Boards" programme, as well as teaching a number of programmes for Non-Executive Directors.  Nicki is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.  Nicki combines her Board work with advice on senior executive career strategy and development.

Nicki Demby has advised the Company that no other details are required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
