PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 1Q 2021
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the first quarter of 2021 as follows.
In the first quarter of 2021, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 18,805.7 billion (as compared to KRW 18,780.8 billion in 2020.4Q and KRW 14,727.8 billion in 2020.1Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 0.1% (QoQ 0.1%) and a year-on-year increase of 27.7% (YoY 27.7%).
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 1,517.8 billion (as compared to KRW 650.2 billion in 2020.4Q and KRW 1,090.4 billion in 2020.1Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 133.4% (QoQ 133.4%) and a year-on-year increase of 39.2% (YoY 39.2%).
