PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 2Q 2019
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the second quarter of 2019 as follows.
In the second quarter of 2019, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 15,630.1 billion (as compared to KRW 14,915.1 billion in 2019.1Q and KRW 15,019.4 billion in 2018.2Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 4.8% (QoQ 4.8%) and a year-on-year increase of 4.1% (YoY 4.1%).
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 652.2 billion (as compared to KRW 900.6 billion in 2019.1Q and KRW 771.0 billion in 2018.2Q), representing quarter-on-quarter decrease of 27.6% (QoQ -27.6%) and a year-on-year decrease of 15.4% (YoY -15.4%).
