LONDON (SHARECAST) - Shipwreck booty group SubSea Resources has signed a contract for the supply of Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for its salvage project CELIA, planned for the third quarter of this year.
Two Sealion machines are being supplied to the company by FUGRO through SubSea's project support company TS Marine.
The ROVs will be used for wreck inspection, light recovery work, heavy recovery work, salvage tool and subsea equipment positioning and other tasks required by the salvage team.
SubSea's project manager Darren Morgan said, “These Sealion units are powerful machines that are well suited to the work ahead and are being supplied with their crews through one of the best ROV contracting companies in the world.”
