LONDON (SHARECAST) - Tanfield Group said its Smith Electric Vehicles division has won a further 400 vehicles to service and maintain for Dairy Crest.
Dairy Crest has increased its fleet size after acquiring the doorstep delivery business of Midlands Co-op and the Express Foodservice, London.
"This has resulted in an additional 400 vehicles joining their fleet” said Tanfield. “With effect from mid May 2006, Dairy Crest proposes to outsource the maintenance of these additional vehicles to SEV."
The group said it has 2600 vehicles under contract from Dairy Crest.
