PartyGaming moves on Empire |

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Online poker group PartyGaming has made a takeover approach to its rival Empire Online.
"The board of PartyGaming confirms that it has made a preliminary, non-binding approach to Empire. The terms of any offer will be determined by the outcome of the due diligence process, which is ongoing," it said in a statement.
PartyGaming was reportedly interested in making an offer for Empire when it entered discussions with Sportingbet earlier in the year. The talks between Empire and Sportingbet ended without agreement in September.
Empire's business is to recruit customers for other sites, such as the PartyPoker site run by PartyGaming.
