LONDON (SHARECAST) - Online poker outfit PartyGaming reported third quarter revenues in line with expectations this morning and said there has been a “material uplift” in performance since the end of the period.
The group, which released its third quarter key performance indicators today, posted a 32% hike in quarterly profit to $220m, with total active player days up 53% to 12.2m.
There has also been a marked improvement in poker and casino since the end of September, it said.
Catering giant Compass tumbled after it suspended the chief executive of its UK & Ireland, Middle East and Africa division Peter Harris as it started an investigation into procurement procedures involving contracts with the United Nations.
The group said it has instructed law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer to conduct the investigation into the relationships between subsidiary Eurest Support Services, IHC and the United Nations.
