Costain wins $1.6bn Iran deal |

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Costain has been chosed as lead contractor on the $1.6bn Bid Boland 2 gas treatment facility by National Iranian Gas Company.
The project will be developed in consortium with partners Dragados, Sazeh and Jahanpars. It is expected to take four years to complete and mobilisation will start immediately.
The Bid Boland gas treatment facility, which will process up to 2bn cubic feet per day of sweet and sour gas, is located in the south-west of Iran, approximately 15 km from Behbahan City in Khuzestan province.
The existing Bid Boland 1 facility, constructed by Costain, has been processing some 800m cubic feet per day of gas since the early 1970s.
