Lamprell surges on contract wins |

LONDON (SHARECAST) - February has been a good month for Lamprell, the specialist engineer focused on the oil and gas industry, with the orders pouring in.
The latest contract awards are worth $320.4m in total and emanate from Fred Olson Windcarrier. Lamprell will design, build and deliver two Gusto MSC NG-9000 design self elevating and self propelled offshore wind turbine installation vessels. Both vessels will be constructed at Lamprell's Jebel Ali facility and will be delivered in the second and third quarters of 2012.
Windcarrier has the option to purchase an additional two vessels. The exercise periods for these units are 12 months and 18 months respectively.
