LONDON (SHARECAST) - Engineering and construction contractor Balfour Beatty has bagged a couple of education sector contracts worth a total of £134m.
The company will get £77m for building new student accommodation at the University of Exeter, as part of the Uni’s £400m capital programme.
The project at the Streatham campus, in partnership with University Partnerships Programme Limited (UPP), should finish in late 2012.
Meanwhile, Lincolnshire County Council has appointed Balfour for three design and build contracts worth £57m. The state-of-the-art academies should be ready by September next year.
