LONDON (SHARECAST) - John Taylor has resigned as finance chief at Maxima less than a year after joining the IT services firm and not long after it issued a profits warning.
He’ll leave the group officially at the end of May for the same position at another quoted company, said Maxima.
Taylor, formerly top number cruncher at Alfred McAlpine Business Services, only joined the firm in July 2008, taking over from Linda Andrews who left on health grounds.
“Although trading in the company's third quarter has been in line with expectations, our budgets for the fourth quarter, our most significant trading period, now anticipate a slippage in performance, “said Maxima on 18 March.
“This reflects an increased level of customer caution in our markets, delays in decision making and down-sizing of new business opportunities.”
