York and Sinclair in UK promotional alliance |

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Dermatology firm York Pharma is to hook up with Sinclair Pharma in the UK to co-promote selected products to dermatologists and selected general practitioners.
York Pharma's sales force will co-market Sinclair's Atopiclair product for atopic dermatitis; while Sinclair Pharma's sales force will co-promote certain York Pharma products, including the anti-acne product Zindaclin and the emollient QV.
The agreement starts with effect from 1 January 2009 and related purely to the UK market, although discussions are in progress about possibly extending the agreement to cover other European territories.
“This agreement effectively doubles the number of specialist salespersons promoting the two companies' dermatology products in the UK,” said Dr. Michael Flynn, chief executive officer of Sinclair Pharm.
