LONDON (SHARECAST) - Cyprus may be close to signing a sovereign bailout agreement, according to Finance Minister Vassos Shiarly in an interview with Greek daily Kathimerini.
"We are very close [to agreeing bailout conditions]. The differences which remain with the Troika we consider to be bridgeable," Shiarly was quoted as saying.
"Even on the so-called open issues I'm optimistic agreement is possible," he said.
The bailout agreement may be approved on November 12th at the Eurogroup meeting.
