Cupid's Finance Director ditches shares post-exercise

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Mark Doughty, the Finance Director of Cupid, the internet-based dating operator, pocketed a significant sum of money on Tuesday after trading in 610,228 shares.
The sale follows Doughty's decision to exercise share options over 600,000 ordinary shares.
The shares were sold at 202.08p, earning him a total of £1.2m.
181,334 of the share options were exercised at 16.25p per share, 131,666 share options at an exercise price of 94p per share and 287,000 share options at an exercise price of 109p per share. The options exercised relate to options granted between June and December 2010.
Mark Doughty now holds 24,650 ordinary shares, equal to 0.03% of the issued share capital of the company and holds a further 777,667 share options in the company.
Last month the company agreed to conditionally acquire the entire issued share capital of NSI, which trades as Uniform Dating, a niche uniformed personnel dating business, a move which it believes will be immediately earnings enhancing.
