LONDON (SHARECAST) - Finlay Morrison has been made the new chief executive of Accsys Technologies with effect from 10 October, the environmental science technology group said in a statement Thursday.

The 47-year old, who has joined the board as a director, has held senior positions at both Dallas-based chemical group Celanese and German life-sciences firm Hoechst over the last twenty years.

“Finlay's extensive international commercial expertise will be invaluable in driving the global licensing activity of the company,” said executive chairman and former boss Willy Paterson-Brown.

“This appointment is another indication of the significant growth being achieved by Accsys as we develop our business on a worldwide basis.”

Morrison has been granted 1m options at an exercise price of €3.80 per share.
